RFBI Dubbo Masonic Village welcomed their first residents on May 30 last year, and this black tie event was held to celebrate their first anniversary and the wonderful community of residents, families, staff and care partners that have come together here.
Befitting such a special occasion, the dress code was black tie and over delicious canapés, guests were treated to music, ballroom dancing entertainment and village tours.
RFBI Dubbo Masonic Village General Manager, Danny Oakenfull, said the birthday celebrations marked an important milestone for the Village community and everyone was keen to make sure it was a birthday to remember.
“It has been a very big year for our team and our residents. As well as celebrating our first anniversary, this party was a great opportunity for us to reflect on what has been a fantastic year and the wonderful community we have created here at RFBI Dubbo Masonic Village.”
“Staff and residents all came together to decide on what sort of party we wanted to have and I was delighted when they shared with me that they wanted to hold a Black Tie Ballroom Dancing event.”
Beryl, a resident of RFBI Dubbo Masonic Village said the party was “lots of fun, with great food, excellent entertainment and great company.”
