About 7.45am, emergency services were called to a home on Long Street after reports of a fire.

After the blaze was extinguished by the Rural Fire Service NSW, the body of a man was located inside.

Officers from the Central West Police District established a crime scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fire, including whether or not it is suspicious.
