With members of local breast cancer charity the Pink Angels in attendance, the organisation combined sport with community in a project that raised more than $2000.
Prior to tip off in the Waratah League clash between the Rams and Wagga, the future of the sport was on show in the final match of a three-game series between the Rams’ under 12s boys and girls.
The girls claimed series bragging rights, with the 24-23 win giving them a 2-1 overall victory.
Always popular, the emergency services basketball match between local police and ambulance saw the boys and girls in blue come out on top.
And with a big crowd on hand to watch Bart Sykes’ boys in action, there was plenty of support for the Pink Angels throughout the course of the afternoon.
