They were guests at Discovery Parks Dubbo, now co-branded Top Parks, when it unveiled its new barbecue area and launched its G’day Rewards program on Friday.
Park manager Deirdre Kernahan said it had been a lovely day, and that in the role she loved meeting many different people.
“All walks of life, all ages, and to keep seeing them come back with other members of their family,” she said.
Mr Grant, who was at the event, said the Dubbo electorate had “a myriad of great attractions and events” that enticed both international and domestic visitors to the region.
“Tourism directly employs more than 2300 people across the electorate and supports other industries...” he said.
“As the local member, I have been proud to support the tourism economy by providing funding and support to improve existing tourism experiences, and create new ones.
“It is great to see local tourism operators making investments, complementing work done by the government to further grow and support the region’s tourism industry.”
“The goal is to get more visitors to town, and keep them here longer.”
