Aboriginal people and organisations are being invited to take part in Dubbo College’s second Reconciliation Walk at Ollie Robbins Oval on Friday, June 8.

Dubbo College South Campus deputy principal Jacqui Thompson and Aboriginal education officer Rod Ahsee are organising the event themed ‘Don’t Keep Our History a Mystery’.
“This year our walk along the Macquarie River will include points of interest with placards explaining some of the history of Indigenous culture in this region,” Mrs Thompson said.

Students will also participate in yarning circles with Aboriginal guests and elders who will enjoy warm drinks and a barbecue lunch.
The event will begin at 11.30am with an opening cerermony.
