The Rick Worthington-trained six-year-old won last start at Muswellbrook after finishing second first-up at the same track.
In his last spell he recorded second-placed finishes at Bathurst and Cessnock.
On Tuesday he will contest the final event of the seven-race meet at Wellington Jockey Club, jumping with Ryan from barrier one in the Barnson Surveyors Benchmark 65 Handicap (1700m).
While he’s got the results on the board heading into the event, it shapes as a step up in class for Doosey.
Trevor Sutherland’s Gentleman Max, a veteran country galloper with nine wins, including cup victories, from 64 starts headlining the field while the Gayna Williams-trained Dapperized and Cameron Crockett’s Velaro are also firmly in the running.
However, Doosey does have Ryan onboard and the hoop put four winless meets behind him on Saturday when scoring with the Allan Denham-trained Bangkok.
Elsewhere in Tuesday’s meet, Crockett will be going for another win with Fame And Fortune after the three-year-old filly won on debut at Dubbo Turf Club earlier this month.
Fame And Fortune will contest the Notts Rural and Domestic Benchmark 55 Handicap (1100m).
The race for fillies and mares also features Emo Girl, Handful Of Aces and Vixen Lass, hopes trained by Dubbo trio Connie Greig, Darren Hyde and Kody Nestor respectively.
Racing starts 1.05pm with the seventh and final event at 4.45pm.
