Last week’s Red Ochre Classic winner My Casino Belle will headline a top card of pacing at Cowra this Sunday when she lines up in $10,000 Club Menangle Country Series Heat (1700m).

Despite being a last-start Group 3 winner the classy mare has drawn kindly in barrier two, and trainer-driver Brad Hewitt will no doubt have designs on firing out of the gate and leading like he did last Friday night at Dubbo.

While My Casino Belle will start a short-priced favourite for the race, there is no shortage of in-form pacers lining up against the mare.

Another former Kiwi, Our Positano, has won its past three starts for Amanda Turnbull but will have to contend with a back-row draw, while Dot Ayou, prepared by Darryl Davis, will also be looking for his third win on the trot.

Hewitt is also likely to have one of the favourites in the $12,240 Tritech Cowra Cup (2520m) in the form of consistent cups campaigner Our Triple Play, recent winner of the Wagga Cup and Sydney City Cup.
