The wild winds on Friday may have delayed her plane, but that didn’t stop Ms Kernaghan spending an hour meeting her fans, signing autographs and posing for photos.
This isn’t the first time that the retail store has hosted the Dubbo Show’s headline act. Last year Adam Brand also popped down to Orana Mall’s JB Hi-Fi Home to meet his fans. The events have been organised by Amy Schink from Dubbo’s JB Hi-Fi Home store, who said the events were all about promoting country and Australian music.
“Being a country town we’ve taken a great interest in local and country music,” she said.
Ms Schink was pleased with the strong turnout and said it was a great opportunity for locals to meet people that they normally wouldn’t have the chance to.
