The Crowe Horwath employee said she was looking forward to the judging on May 5, followed by the show ball that night.
“That’s really good preparation for the successful Showgirl to go through to zone,” she said.
“I think there’s a really good group of girls, so it should make the ball lots of fun.”
In 2013 Dubbo Showgirl Kennedy Tourle was named Sydney Royal Showgirl and Miss Anderson said she was inspired by her and other titleholders.
“It shows that the committee really supports their Showgirl and invests a lot of time into her throughout her year of being Showgirl,” she said.
“You can see that a lot of the competitors who have been successful have really grown and have been give a platform where there’s a lot of opportunities, that if you want to take them, you can.”
