Police will allege the man was in possession of drugs and a weapon – believed to an electronic stun device – after officers were called to a motel on Cobra Street about 2.20pm on Sunday following reports of a domestic dispute.
After speaking with a 32-year-old man at the scene police searched a duffle bag and seized prohibited drugs, resealable bags, scales, syringes, an ice pipe and a weapon believed to be an electronic stun device.
The man was arrested and taken to Dubbo Police Station where he was charged with four offences: possess a prohibited drug, possess or use a prohibited weapon without permit, and two outstanding warrants.
He was refused bail to appear before Dubbo Local Court on Monday.
