The Gorillas and Rams secured last year’s GrainCorp Cup Northern and Southern Division titles, respectively, and sit first and second on Central West Rugby Union’s second tier ladder through two rounds this year.
Narromine’s taken care of Mudgee and Parkes, while Blayney opened with a win over CSU Bathurst but fell victim to a the fast-finishing Dubbo Rhinos last week.
While the 200-kilometre journey to Blayney is far from ideal for Narromine, the Gorillas have already proved they can win away from Cale Oval by trouncing Mudgee in the season-opener.
In Saturday’s other second tier match-up Parkes hosts Mudgee at Northparkes Oval, both sides are coming off losses.
Kick-off in all Saturday’s games is at 3.15pm.
