Half of the Stage 3 students presented projects which focused on micro-organisms, while the other half focused on STEM investigations.
Students were given the opportunity to focus on a topic of micro-organisms and base a project around it.
Dubbo South Public Stage 3 assistant principal Lisa Lunn said in total 90 students in Years 5 and 6 had taken part in the Science Expo Day.
“This is the second year the School has done this,” she said.
“The students love it.. and it’s an opportunity for parents to get involved in what their children are doping at school.”
Of the micro-organisms projects, students investigated mold, small pox, micro-organisms in the brain and foot fungus.
