Whether it is exploring your creativity by learning the art of making stop-motion animation with Lego, or putting your mind to the test by discovering hidden messages and see if you can crack the code! There really is something for everyone at the library this school holidays.
Bookings are essential as numbers are limited call the library on 6801 4510 to secure your place and everyone is welcome to come along to the Lego club which is available every weekday of the school holidays 2pm–4pm.
Dundullimal: Dubbo's Oldest Homestead
Join us at the Dubbo library 6pm May 3 to celebrate The 30th Anniversary of Dundullimal Homestead as a National Trust building.
At this special free event hear from Gary Waller, of G & C Waller builders for a fascinating insight into the difficult two year restoration project undertaken to bring Dundullimal Homestead and stables back to life.
Built in the early 1840s Dundullimal Homestead is one of the oldest and most sophisticated slab houses in Australia.
In the 1980s the abandoned Homestead was gifted to the National Trust. Dundullimal Homestead was officially opened as a National Trust building on the May 1, 1988.
Join us in celebrating Dundullimal’s 30th year as one of the National Trust’s most unique homesteads. Rare and interesting items related to Dundullimal will also be on display in the library and light refreshments will be provided, Bookings are essential, please call the library on 6801 4510 to secure your place.
