Police from Orana Mid-Western district are appealing for information that can help them apprehend a man who threatened a 90-year-old with a knife on Tuesday morning.

About 1.20am police were called to a home on East Street where officers were told an unknown man had entered the property, before producing the knife and demanding money.
The man stole a number of personal items before leaving the premises.
He is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 165cm-170cm tall with a slim build and was wearing dark clothing.
Orana Mid-Western Police District established a crime scene and would like to speak with anyone who may have information regarding the incident.
