The cast of Eireborne, including singers, dancers and musicians, will take the stage on April 26.
Dubbo Regional Theatre manager Linda Christof says the production is “100 per cent live”.
“The audience will notice a difference with the dancers performing to a live band rather than recorded music,” she said.
“The atmosphere will be akin to actually being in an Irish pub in Dublin with roguish Irish barmen cracking jokes.
“There will be great music, dance and comedy as well.”
The dream of taking traditional Irish music and dancing and putting a modern spin on it has paid off for Australian dancer Peta Anderson.
In Eireborne she’s aimed to bring audiences spectacular examples of Ireland’s contribution to the world of music and dance.
“We want to take audiences on a journey and that is what the show does,” said Anderson, who fronts the dance ensemble.
