Jaimen Taylor, 28, appeared via audio visual link before Magistrate Paul Hayes in Dubbo Local Court on Thursday, six days after he was arrested and charged by police in relation to the alleged incident.
He had been bail refused by a registrar on March 3 when facing charges of aggravated break-and-enter and commit serious indictable offence, take/detain person with intention of obtaining advantage, and take and drive conveyance.
Police will allege that between 12.30am and 12.35am on February 27 Mr Taylor ransacked a property on Myall Street in north Dubbo, before fleeing with the alleged victim’s vehicle.
On Thursday Mr Taylor did not apply for bail, and as such it was refused, with Magistrate Hayes adjourned the matter until May 9
