The Boss Babe Project founder Jessica Inder is holding a full-day She Can workshop to promote self-love.
Ms Inder said she thought too many women were struggling and didn’t know what was available to them.
“I wanted to bring something to Dubbo that shows there are people to talk to and the opportunity to grow and be proud of yourself. I also wanted to include as many local businesses as I could to show the businesses, but also the women, that there are so many people who want the same thing,” she said.
“It might help maybe just one person but it might help a few.”
The workshop will be held at Victoria Park on Sunday, March 18. It will include yoga, guest speakers, pop-up shops and a picnic lunch.
Ms Inder said she started The Boss Babe Project after her own experiences in high school. After joining a gym, Ms Inder said she began to see changes not only physically but mentally, as well as with the type of people she started hanging out with.
From there sprung the idea to show women the importance of feeling fit and strong, rather than just looking it, Ms Inder said.
