Many other local kindergarten students will start their educational journey on Wednesday.
The kindergarten class at St Laurence’s Primary School enjoyed a day of meeting their Year 5 buddies, learning the class rules and getting accustomed to school life.
St Laurence’s kindergarten teacher Mrs Masters said the students were “settling in beautifully.”
Student Ned Hyde said kindergarten was “good” and that he had made a lot of friends.
Jane Reynish said her favourite thing so far was drawing, while Finlay Smith liked playing soccer.
Rubi Short said her favourite thing about kindergarten was “lunch, recess and afternoon tea.”
