A 2017 Christmas raffle has put smiles on the faces of Dubbo’s Louis Nakad and Scott Tourle.

Members of the Rotary Club of Dubbo West are also chuffed at selling more than 17,500 tickets and making about $38,000.
Mr Nakad won the raffle’s major prize of a trailer loaded with camping equipment and other items worth $6000.
Mr Tourle was among the people who bought a book of tickets costing $10 and went into a separate draw.
He won the “book buyer’s” prize of a $3000 travel voucher.
"We thank the businesses and supporters for their valuable contributions, because without them, this event would not be successful,” club president Nicole Shanks said.
“Locals know that the funds raised are used to support worthwhile causes.”
