On Monday John Marshall began horse drawn carriage rides in his restored Cobb and Co coach through the streets of Dubbo.
They’ll be running right up until Christmas, Mr Marshall said.
It’s the second time the free carriage rides have been offered in the city. When he was again asked by Dubbo Regional Council to support the Smile. It’s Christmas initiative, Mr Marshall was only too happy to say yes.
Despite Monday only being his first day this year, Mr Marshall said there had been a steady stream of people waiting to have their turn in the horse drawn carriage.
Both the young and the young-at-heart had taken advantage of the chance to see the CBD from a new angle, he said.
The horse drawn carriage tours pick up and drop people off at the Church Street Rotunda. They’ll be operating every week day until Christmas between 10am and 12pm.
Mr Marshall said beginning on Friday he would also be offering tours of the Christmas lights around Dubbo.
