Macquarie Lions Park on Bligh Street will be the location of the event, which brings the community together to join in the festive spirit.
Kids rides, market stalls, entertainment, food and refreshments will all be on offer, and a big crowd is expected to make the most of the perfect conditions that will be on offer.
The Bureau of Meteorology is predicting a top temperature of 29 degrees, but the mercury will be starting to drop when the fair commences at 4.30pm.
With Christmas only a little more than two weeks away, the entire city is getting behind a number of festive themed events, with the Rotary Fair coming on the heels of the launch of the Smile! It’s Christmas campaign being coordinated by Dubbo Regional Council.
Another major event that is being planned is the annual Community Carols by Candlelight, which will be held at No.1 Oval on Sunday, December 17.
Gates for the Carols will open at 6pm with the main event starting shortly after. There will be a special appearance from Santa at 8.30pm.
Food, drinks and safe flame candles will be available.
