Jockey Club secretary Blake Nicholson said the weather was perfect and the annual Spring race meeting attracted a good crowd, with a great line-up for Fashions particularly the coveted Most Elegant Lady title.
"We've had an absolutely sensational day," he said on course on Saturday.
The meeting coincided with the running of The Everest Stakes, the world's richest race on turf.
Locals had the chance to take part in a sweepstakes to benefit Can Assist Forbes. Billy Boland was the day's grinning winner.
