The matches begin on Friday night with the deciders in the Brownbuild Construction Group High School and Women’s C Grade being played out before the annual presentation night is held.
Following that, Saturday afternoon will feature four grand finals.
“There’s been a big build-up during finals and a lot of crowd participation,” Dubbo Hockey Association (DHA) secretary Vanessa Brown said.

“This is also the first year we’ve had a high school competition so this will be the first grand finals for that and with that and women’s C grade on Friday it will be exciting for those kids to play under lights in front of the crowd.”
Waves takes on Grinches in the high school game on Friday night at Pioneer Park before IHC meets City in the women’s C grade decider.
On Saturday, the finals action begins with IHC taking on City again, this time in the open primary school competition. That is followed by the women’s B Grade match match between IHC and EDH Fusion.
The A Grade games then take centre stage with minor premiers Diablos taking on Wanderers in the men’s before Waratahs and EDH Cruisers do battle.
“There’s been nothing between Waratahs and EDH,” Brown said of the women’s match.
“It really could be anyone’s, there’s no dominant team there.”
The men’s game also shapes as a tight contest.
“It’s been even all year, even right through finals,” she said.
Brown added she and the DHA had been left delighted by the success of this season’s competition with the quality of action on the field matched by a huge number of players making representative sides in junior and senior grades.
