Instead of the service only being offered on a monthly basis at Council’s Civic Administration Building, Western NSW LHD’s Child and Family Health clinic rooms will be holding the clinics every week.
The clinics will start Monday July 3, and run from 3pm to 4:30pm.
Council’s director community services David Dwyer, said the transfer was expected to be warmly welcomed by the community.
“The transfer to Western NSW LHD will greatly benefit the wider community,” Mr Dwyer said.
“The Hawthorn Street clinic will still operate as a free drop in service for all residents, however this will now allow for more flexibility for parents and carers with the clinic open every Monday.”
Mr Dwyer said the final clinic at Dubbo Regional Council will be held on Wednesday 21 June 2017.
