Stiff has a chance in both of the Ladbrokes Up For The Challenge finals, one over 720m and the other a 520m event.
Both races are worth $26,500 and Stiff will have high hopes in each.
Simple Keeping will contest the first of the finals, the 720m, having impressed in the series up to the final while the same goes for Lexie Keeping, who will jump from box eight in the 520m final.
Points were earned over a number of Up For The Challenge events around regional areas of the state and Lexie Keeping appears the best chance for Stiff, having scored five wins from eight career starts.
She has, however, been more impressive from inside draws but has shown enough talent in previous wins to still remain a leading contender in Saturday’s feature.
Lexie Keeping opened a $3.50 chance on Friday morning, behind early favourite Something New ($2.50).
Simple Keeping, with four wins and six placings from 14 career starts, will jump from barrier two in the 720m final.
The stayer has scored four wins and six placings from 14 starts and is one of a host of western area hopes in the final.
Forbes’ Raymond Smith will be confident of his chances with the in-form Big Daddy Bee and Midnight Treat lining up while Cowra trainer Geoff Curtale has Rippin Tay Tay going from box seven.
