ENID co-founders Nina Khoury and Adriana Stefanatos spoke to the Year 10 students about their network.
“We created ENID to be everything we wished we’d known whether it was what to do after school or how to nail uni or what career paths were out there. We just thought we weren’t being given the ability to make an informed decision,” Ms Khoury said.
“And we also weren’t seeing really relatable, positive, young role models doing really different things and that’s what we’re really targeting too.”
As well as presenting to the students, Ms Stefanatos said they encouraged the young adults to stay in touch after the event through platforms such as Snapchat, Instagram and Facebook. The response had been overwhelmingly positive, she said.
Ms Khoury said they wanted ENID to be a network of inspiring, young women supporting one another and achieving their goals.
