Mr Brebner visited the Wellington Shire recently in to successfully obtain stockists for the book.
The paddle from Wellington to Narromine started six years ago runs annually over five days in November.
Currently the WomDomNom has to purchase six kayaks for the paddle and as well are hoping to complete some work on the Macquarie River.
“We need to raise about $10,000.00 and Barry has allowed us the use of his book to help raise funds,” the president of the WomDomNom, Andrew Mackay, said
The book tells 11 factual and personal stories of people’s adventures as they have travelled Australia.
Mr Mackay said 120 paddlers took part in the 2016 event and he hopes to see 200 paddlers this year.
“This paddle is great for the economy of the district especially the three locations involved.”
