Members of the Ultimate Frisbee Federation met with the group at Katrina Gibbs Oval where they shared pointers on catching and throwing frisbees.
The day continued as participants headed to the South Dubbo Tavern to socialise over pizza and drinks.
Organiser Zoey Hummel said despite a disappointing turnout, it was a fun day.
“I organise [these outings] so people have a safe place to come and meet new friends and have something to do,” she said. “Saturday was the same, it was just to get people together, meet new people, have a bit of fun and learn something different.”
Zoey now turns her attention to an upcoming event in June – a workshop on how to cope with anxiety.
