An initiative of the Armidale-based BackTrack program, Paws Up enables young people who have lost their way to develop commitment, motivation and reliability through training dogs.
In January, twelve local young people – accompanied by workers from local organisations – made the trip to Armidale to participate in the BackTrack program.
This weekend, the BackTrack program will come to them.
Between 10am and 11am on Saturday, the Paws Up team will treat Dubbo market-goers to a nationally renowned show. They hold the current Australian high-jump record at nine foot 10 inches and have performed to huge and appreciative crowds at the Royal Easter Show.
