Police are appealing for information following a serious assault in Dubbo on Friday.

About 5.20pm, a man was working at a golf range on Fitzroy Street, when he was approached and assaulted by a group of men and women.
The group fled the area and police were called.
Officers from Dubbo Local Area Command attended the location and established a crime scene.
A 68-year-old man was taken to Dubbo Hospital for treatment of serious head injuries. On Saturday he remained in a stable condition.
Officers continue to investigate the incident and would like to speak to four people who they believe may be able to assist with inquiries.
The two men and two women are described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance.
The group may be travelling in a silver-coloured vehicle.
