Jeffrey, with the Sixers as the Community Rookie, has been highlighted as one of the potential stars, should he play, along with Bathurst’s Ryan Peacock.
The tournament will be played at Cowra across three days, with four sides going head-to-head.
Cowra District Cricket Association president Greg Nicholls, who is the tournament coordinator, is thrilled to secure the high performance carnival.
“It’s a forerunner for Country NSW/ACT under 19s selection next year,” Nicholls said.
“It’ll help give selectors an indication of what’s on offer.”
Western Zone will team up with Riverina at the carnival, which begins on February 3.
