After recently joining the Best Western chain in 2016 and undertaking renovations, the local motel has risen through the ranks top tops this years awards.
Each year Trivago analyses aggregated ratings and reviews of hotels across Australia to find out which hotels have the best ratings amongst travelers and which destinations have the highest rated hotels. The awards are based on 175 million ratings from over 250 booking sites worldwide.
Owners Rob and Amanda Zatta have been with Best Western Bluegum Motel since February 2014 and in that time have completed – and are currently undertaking – renovations to the motel.
The current renovations should be completed by mid-January. They said it was a wonderful surprise to find out they had been named as the top-rated hotel of Dubbo. Rob’s parents built the motel in 1986, and for 25 years the property was leased out to various operators. Since taking on the motel they have built up a great clientele of high end corporate and leisure guests.
“We’re looking forward to growing our business and our guests,” Mrs Zatta said.
