The annual event has grown in popularity and Spotlight store manager Bronwyn Smyth said she was expecting a good turnout of costumed children.
“It’s always very popular with the kids and even the adults. Everyone gets into the spirit,” she said.
“Dress up as your favourite superhero or character and take part in our events such as guessing how many creepy crawlies are in the cauldron, and spooky spiders, where you have to try and throw the most spiders in a bucket in a row.”
There will also be specials throughout the store, cake decorating and staff will also be participating in the dress-ups.
The event runs between 11am and 3pm on Saturday, October 29 and involves a number of games and activities for children.
There is no need to register, children and their parents can just show up in character on the day and be ready to take part in the fun.
