A baby grand piano and upright piano will both be located at the Church Street rotunda between 5pm and 7pm.
“Anyone can come and have a go. We do have a few people locked in but there are open spaces. Last year we had piano players and singers and it’s open to anyone musically-inclined,” DREAM Festival committee member Kim Hague said.
“ We have a trophy up for grabs so it will be a good afternoon.”
Pianos on the Pavement was a new addition to the festival in 2015 but its popularity ensured it was retained for this year.
“It was such a popular event last year and went really well. Techni-Clean have supported us with the event this year so it’s been fantastic,” Ms Hague said.
“We have some talented people in Dubbo and it’s great to see them come out.
“The festival is a great community event and we couldn’t have done it without Macquarie Credit Union or Dubbo Regional Council and we’re exceptionally happy about them supporting the event.”
