"Interrelate is passionate about eradicating bullying and giving a children a voice," Interrelate central and far west area manager Anne Heath said.
"Participating schools have told us that by giving students a voice through the art, the competition helped them engage young people in a dialogue about bullying and allowed them to address issues that would have otherwise gone unnoticed."
This year, the competition theme is Differences Make Us Special. Don't Bully.
The competition invites primary school students to draw a picture depicting their interpretation of the theme for their chance to win a family getaway.
In addition to prizes for the winner and 10 regional finalists, the school with the highest percentage of participating students will win $1000 for their school.
"We want to encourage an open dialogue about bullying and its effects," Ms Heath said.
"The impact of bullying can have devastating outcomes for both victims and perpetrators.
"We believe that this competition is an ideal classroom activity for the start of the school year, as it can assist teachers to encourage open discussion about bullying, diversity and differences, which we hope can contribute to a change in behaviours."
Entries must be received by Friday, February 19.
Entry forms and full competition details are available at www.interrelate.org.au/poster.
