Lucky train travellers and all of the festival fanatics will notice a slight change to the festival name - NSW TrainLink Parkes Elvis Festival instead of NSW CountryLink Parkes Elvis Festival.
For several years the naming rights for the festival have been owned by CountryLink through their very supportive and generous partnership with Elvis Revival Inc.
Recent restructuring of NSW trains has given rise to the name change but in all other aspects the support, fun and devotion to celebrating the life of “The King” will remain the same.
NSW TrainLink, Elvis Revival Inc and its regional partners along with the community of Parkes continue to strive to make the NSW TrainLink Parkes Elvis Festival the most impressive event on the annual calendar for thousands of patrons to enjoy.
Introduction of the Elvis Express several years ago was a huge innovation for the festival, contributing to the increased popularity and prominence of the festival which is now a hallmark regional event.
Tickets for the NSW TrainLink Elvis Express sell out very quickly and are the hottest tickets in town with only 400 seats available.
Check the NSW Trains website for all the details of the Elvis Express and the official festival website for all you need to know to start planning your fun at the 2014 NSW TrainLink Parkes Elvis Festival.
The 2014 festival is shaping up to be another fantastic five day adventure into the world of Elvis, rock ‘n roll, and great country hospitality.
With the 2014 theme of “Kissin Cousins” it is sure to be a “hoot” so don’t miss out on all of the fun.
Bookings can be made by calling 13 22 32, in person at your local NSW TrainLink Travel Centre or visit the website www.nswtrainlink.info
