Some of the Dubbo North Public school girls looking very tropical.
Last Thursday the student representative council of Dubbo North Public School held a disco at the school hall.
The theme for the night was Hawaiian and the disco was well organised by Mrs Acton and the SRC. It ran from 7pm to 9pm and was attended by more than 60 students from years 3 to 6.
It was fantastic to see so many students dress up for the night and enjoy dancing with their friends and teachers.
Students paid $5 entry on the night and this covered their admission plus a drink and a packet of chips.
Students enjoyed dances and some games, and they even managed to entice the staff up on the stage for a dance.
There were prizes for the best dancers selected by staff who were keeping a close eye on all the dance steps. A great night was had by all and the SRC's first fundraiser for 2013 was a huge success.
We look forward to welcoming all our parents and grandparents to our grandparents day today.
It would be fantastic to see our school community supporting the school.
