Cobar won the points count and Ducks captain Brian Schloeffel offered congratulations on behalf of all swimmers that competed at the event.
Dubbo RSL men dominated the service events with Matt McDonagh, David Sparkes, Tony Wall and Doug Fuller sharing the success.
Previous captain Gerry Collins was our guest MC and entertained all with his articulation and eloquence of a high standard.
Gerry lives near Newcastle now so there's every chance he will turn up at the national AIF carnival on March 9.
The 2014 carnival will be hosted by Cobar and the Ducks will travel early and stay the night before the event.
Cobar, Forbes, Nyngan, Wellington and Dubbo provided most of the competitors at the event.
Patricia Spalding, Louise and Lucy Taylor, Joanne Ross and Nicole Johnstone were our lady contingent on the day.
The next two swims are business as usual at the RSL pool.
March 3 will be the start of the 2013 age and open championships with butterfly and backstroke to be contested.
Age events are held over 25m while the open events are 50m.
On March 9 the National AIF Championships will be held at Nelsons Bay while March 17 will see the age and open breaststroke and freestyle championships held at the duck pond.
