Led by founding member Clinton Hoy, One Proud Monkey will be performing alongside Australian rock icons The Whitlams at the February 8 event to be held at Lazy River Estate.
Hoy said it would be an "awesome opportunity" to perform in front of hundreds of people at the event.
"There were a few sleepless nights for us as the voting had begun and it was so close when it was all finalised," he said.
"It's exciting that we'll be playing for a bigger crowd which is 1000 times bigger than anything else we've ever done... it's an unparalleled opportunity."
It was a "funny touchstone", according to Hoy that the band would be performing with The Whitlams, a group he remembered seeing as a student.
One Proud Monkey received 1600 votes and only just beat People's Palace who finished with 1515 from an online competition on the Flix in the Stix website.
