Regional Development Australia Orana is promoting the event, the first of its kind in the central west of NSW.
It reports that Orana to the Digital Economy will bring together leading professionals in business, internet technology, health, education and agriculture to present the latest research on "how the digital economic revolution is transforming the way we do business in regional Australia".
Scheduled speakers include Dr Tim Williams who has given evidence to the federal inquiry into the National Broadband Network and advises a number of state and local governments on their digital economy strategies.
Businesses are being encouraged to get involved by exhibiting at the texpo and through sponsorship packages that include speaking opportunities.
Orana to the Digital Economy will be held at the Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre on April 22 and 23.
