Both heat winners are from the October 2010 litter of Bombastic Shiraz x Midnight Music and both were impressive winning over the course and distance last Thursday.
While they may be siblings the two runners have found themselves in different kennels with Motown Girl prepared by Toby Weekes at Molong while Balboa Prince, a winner of two races from three starts, is prepared by Scott Watson at Stockton.
Motown Girl ran the quickest of the heat times last week, running 30.29s from box one when defeating another finalist, Mighty Adhara, by two lengths while Balboa Prince ran 30.37s when beating Gazmick Diva.
Returning from a run over 605m, Balboa Prince showed strength from box five but will have to contend with a wider run from box seven today while Motown Girl has fared poorly at the draw and will jump from box five.
Meanwhile, impressive debut winner Renee Keeping should again be hard to beat when she contests the Coolabah Goat Company Stakes (400m).
Trained by Charmaine Roberts, the Bit Chili x Sweet Keeping bitch made a big impression when scoring by 12 lengths on debut on Boxing Day.
On that day she recorded a good time of 22.93s from box five and should be suited more by jumping from box seven against opposition that has indifferent form.
The 12-race program, which will be covered by the TAB and shown on Sky Channel, will begin at 2.29pm with the final race to be run at 6.05pm.
