The National Super Sedan Series will run for 10 rounds all across Australia and Onley has his eyes on the big prize at the end of the season, the National Super Sedan series title.
Onley is running a brand new Pascoe chassis this season and it has paid dividends early on in the season.
This weekend's rounds will be held at Dubbo's Morris Park speedway on Saturday and Goulburn Speedway on Sunday.
Onley carries momentum heading to his home track at Morris Park, after winning round three at Kingaroy by the closest margin in Sedan Series history. Onley battled with Mick Nicola and Wayne Randall on a late re-start and they went three wide to the chequered flag.
"I'm hoping for a fast track at Morris Park," Onley said.
With 41 degrees forecast for Saturday, he hopes Leanne and the crew can produce a track which they can run the high line on the cushion and the low line which can produce great racing at the 440m track.
As point leader heading into the event, Onley said he would take it one race at a time, and look to extend his point lead heading to the Goulburn round on Sunday.
"I've never been to Goulburn. The track has been widened recently and will produce some tight racing on the 350m layout," he said.
He said his main rivals for the series all had quality cars and rated Queensland's Pascoe and Darren Kane as ones to watch this season.
Pascoe took the first round opening night honours at Toowoomba, while Onley had mechanical trouble with the number 17A Ford Mustang. But Onley is grateful that he has come out of the Queensland rounds as cup champion and National Super Sedan Series points leader.
Onley has grown up a supporter of Dick Johnson, the five-time Australian touring car championship winner, and said "the number 17 took a few years to get" and he would be doing the number proud when he drove onto Morris Park Speedway on Saturday night.
Onley runs predominantly blue and white colours and is sponsored by Dencol Sand and Soil, so come on out for a great night of racing and support the Orange-based driver as he takes on the nation's best and aims for the Australian National Super Sedan Championship.
