On Sunday firefighters answered a report about a fire at the Dubbo Golf Club although the location of the fire was unclear at first, according to Dubbo Fire and Rescue Station Officer John Poulos.
"I don't think anyone nearby called it in," he said.
Dubbo Fire and Rescue firefighters also answered a report of a grass fire in the Wheelers Lane median strip.
On Christmas Eve Dubbo Fire and Rescue extinguished a fire on Mountbatten Drive and the Saturday before there was another grass fire on Cobra Street.
Station Officer Poulos encouraged people to call in a fire incident if they saw one and to be vigilant during the fire season.
There is a total fire ban in place in the lower central west plains (which includes Dubbo), upper central west and north west.
