Emergency services were called to a section of the Mitchell Highway near Sheraton Road about 3.15pm yesterday following reports the Hyundai sedan had rear-ended a Ford Territory.
A tow truck removed the Hyundai from the crash scene while the driver of the Ford Territory, who described his vehicle as "brand new", was able to drive away from the crash.
Traffic was slowed around the section of the road for a short time but was back to normal within less than half an hour.
