We are now in the closing stages of the 2012 school year and it is starting to get very busy at the school with end of year activities and getting ready for 2013.
Last week we held the final full school assembly for the year at the Dubbo RSL?Memorial Club theatrette, with several students receiving Gold and Silver Awards for positive behaviour.
Olivia Kirkman, Gemma Harley, Joshua Sauer and Charlotte Crowfoot were awarded School Medals, Dubbo Public School's highest accolade for outstanding student conduct.
Congratulations to you all.
The process of electing school leaders for 2013 is underway, with nominees delivering their election speeches to staff and the student body over the last week.
Our candidates are to be commended on the effort they have put in to preparing and delivering their speeches and the high quality of the finished product reflects the care and attention with which they have approached their task.
