In the Macquarie Inn Super Handicap A-grade Competition, Mat Skinner's Wizards and Ben Patterson's Newtown outfit played out one of the strangest results you are ever likely to see when Wizards lost what seemed to be a certain victory.
Wizards batted first, moving to 50 from their first eight overs, with Adam Quill's 27 a highlight.
After the first changeover and Newtown down to bat 16 overs they were on 40 after 14 overs, well behind the eight-ball.
At this point Dale O'Donnell (27) and Ben Patterson (25) decided it was time to throw caution to the wind, scoring 35 from the last two overs, taking their total to 65.
Best with the ball for Wizards were Josh Williams (6/0) and Joe Daly (5/-9)
Wizards returned to the crease needing 26 from eight overs, what followed then was a huge turnaround from Newtown.
It was a turnaround that saw the ball dominate hugely during the final overs, limiting the talented Wizards to just 15 runs in eight overs and a total of 55 - 10 short of victory.
Andrew Walden's Team Bundy scored a much-needed win over Tim Newby's Magic.
On a night where everything clicked for Bundy, Steve McDowell (5/-19) and Joel Johnston (26) were standouts, in the 153-73 win.
In the ZooFM Jackpot Indoor Cricket Series, Fireants scored a comprehensive 187-106 win over E-Team.
Scott Tucker top scored with 48, while with the ball for Fireants Aaron Sutton took 6/-1.
Gurus continued their good form with a 123-13 win over Crushers.
Yogi Chawla top scored with 38 for Gurus, while Bill Hellegers (8/-27) was impressive with the ball for Gurus.
Dave Hey was a shining light for Crushers taking 9/0.
OFS took the points from Grandads Army, with a close 99-89 win.
Jack Oldfield (34) top scored for Grandads, while Dave Crowe took 7/3 for OFS.
In the Western Plains Security six-a-side Blitz competition, Sean Mason's St Johns handed out a 226-142 smashing to Stars.

Chargers had a comfortable 122-77 win over Tilepower.
Yogi Chawla topped the scoring with 28, while Josh Toole took 4/-6.
For Tilepower, it was James Munro' s 31 runs that kept them in the game.
Nunfa recorded a huge 171-79 win over a gallant Thundercats team.
For Nunfa it was Nathan Merchant blasting 46 and Sheree White with 2/7 who were the standouts.
For Thundercats Asher Robbins was a standout with 33.
