Senior Quality Engineer

Your new company

Your new role
As a Quality Engineer you’ll play a crucial role in this transformation. You’ll build the technical, process and people capabilities that allow teams to take quality to the next level. You’ll also participate in product delivery, so that you can use your own toolsets first-hand. As part of the Quality Engineering and Testing Practice you’ll report into Chapter Leads who are experts in software quality and focussed on enabling and uplifting our engineers.

What you'll need to succeed

• Understand what needs to be included in unit, integration, and end to end tests and can coach engineers on what needs to be automated
• Can develop and rollout test harnesses, frameworks, tools and infrastructure to enable test automation, CI/CD and code quality
• Have experience engineering secure and reliable software and improving software systems with comprehensive test coverage
• Are team players and happy to take the time to perform peer design/ code reviews applying software reuse principles and develop creative solutions to debt management
• Can demonstrate coding, design, debugging and problem-solving skills
• Have an understanding of the cloud infrastructure environment
• Have previously worked with complex and legacy systems

Tech skills:

• Hands-on experience in building framework from scratch
• Strong experience in automation with selenium, Java, cucumber, API and database testing
• Experience in public cloud and CI/CD tools will be desirable
