NRMA Parks and Resorts is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the NRMA – keeping people moving for 100 years. Our expanding portfolio of owned and managed holiday parks currently features 48 holiday parks and resorts in iconic tourism locations around Australia.

The Role:

Reporting to the Marketing and Digital Manager this role has a strong focus on customer lifecycle and retention strategies including the development of a loyalty program aligned with the NRMA membership base.  The role will also be key in driving a customer led culture by sharing and role modelling use of deep customer insights in decision making especially around defining optimisation for all stages attract, convert, retain and driving customer lifetime value.

Success in this role will be achieved through deep understanding of customer and business drivers, the ability to balance and synthesise competing needs, operating in a fast-paced environment and building positive and productive relationships with all stakeholders. Success will be measured by the implementation of lifecycle marketing and a loyalty program, and growth in customer lifetime value.
This position also manages, supports and develops a content producer to achieve the following key objectives. 

To be successful in this role, you will: 

  • Effectively translate data analytics into clear insights and actionable recommendations
  • Map and implement customer lifecycle marketing through deep understanding of audiences and journeys 
  • Deep dive into the customer database to drive insights that can be applied to the business
  • Develop customer strategies in order to improve customer data capture and optimise reach, frequency and CLV
  • Manage marketing automation including email triggers and campaigns throughout the customer lifecycle via Campaign monitor  
  • Partner with brand and PR teams to drive the development of email communications, press articles, and marketing assets 
  • Lead the design, execution and delivery of different disciplined testing approaches 
  • Support the design and implementation of the group loyalty program and integration into business unit 
  • Uphold data governance standards and ensure data is captured consistently and appropriately across different touch points and channels and in compliance with the GDPR regulations
  • Collaborate with the membership team to ensure guest and customer communications are timely and aligned to the audience
  • Drive and influence customer led ways of working 
  • Use design thinking methodologies to design and deliver differentiated customer experiences

About You:

  • Minimum of three years’ prior experience in a similar role is desirable
  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing, tourism or other relevant field (highly advantageous)
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio and Publisher)
  • Intermediate Adobe Suite skills (Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) highly regarded
  • Technical literacy i.e. knowledge of social media, blog CMS and WordPress platforms
  • Able to produce timely and grammatically concise reports, minutes and editorials 
  • Flexible and adaptable with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Accountable, honest and acts with integrity in all dealings with clients and personnel
