Job Description

Responsibilities include:

• Provide recommendations for process improvement
• Provide input for the development of the annual audit programme
• Apply the practice standards of the Australian Institute of Internal Auditors
• Analyse business processes to identify risk and assess trends
• Assist with the implementation of recommendations
• Develop and maintain strong relationships across multiple departments
• Liaise with external auditors/stakeholders
• Schedule, plan and carry out internal audits
• Prepare internal audit deliverables and update the risk register
• Report on internal audit findings including providing recommendations
• Ad-hoc reporting and analysis as requested by the manager

The Successful Applicant

The success candidate will be from an internal or external audit position, or from a similar position within industry. The candidate is an intuitive individual who can develop strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders. The candidate has proven experience with process improvement and also has:

• Tertiary degree in Accounting or Finance
• CA or CPA Qualification
• Working towards or completion of CIA qualification
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Internal Audit or Financial Accounting
