General Tradesperson

City FM Australia (City) provide world leading Facilities Management, Engineering and Energy solutions which ensure safe, successful and sustainable outcomes, on time and on budget for our partners - Goodstart Early Learning.

THE OPPORTUNITY 

This role offers a motivated, accomplished trades professional, the opportunity to proactively self-manage your own cluster of childcare centers whilst working becoming an integral part of a dynamic and collaborative team in Regional Northern Victoria and Regional Southern New South Wales. 

Your key responsibilities will include: 

• Work without supervision to proactively and flexibly anticipate and resolve issues; 
• Be an effective communicator and develop strong partnerships; 
• Provide repairs and maintenance services to our Partner 
• Be conversant with OHS guidelines and experienced in the maintenance of safe workplaces 
• Work within self-managed teams 
• Travel within the state of VIC.

To be considered for this role you will have / be: 

• Proven work experience in a similar/related industry 
• Contractor License – Carpentry or Joinery 
• Driver's license 
• CPR/LVR – Preferred 
• Holds a trade certification or tradesperson's rights certificate 
• Working with Children Check - willing to obtain

The successful candidate will be responsible for sites Regional North Victoria including Wangarrata , Sheparton, Albury , Woodonga, Yarrawonga  and surrounds. They will also be responsible for  and Regional Southern NSW, including Wagga and surrounds.
